New Jewish Settlement In Hevron Comes Under Attack
A group of some 40 Jewish youth from the Hevron Jewish Community settled a new piece of land near Admot Yeshai this morning - and promptly became the target of Arab gunfire. IDF forces engaged in a battle with terrorists on Shalhevet Hill (Abu Sneineh), and an IDF soldier was moderately wounded by a bullet to the leg. The army demands that the children leave the area, and "negotiations" on the matter are underway.

If you believe what you read in most news sources, Palestinians want a homeland and Muslims want control over sites they consider holy. Simple, right? Well, as an Arab-American journalist who has spent some time in the Middle East dodging more than my share of rocks and mortar shells, I've got to tell you that these are just phony excuses for the rioting, trouble-making and land grabbing.
